Sensory Therapy Devices

Problem Statement:

The sense of touch is utilized in sensory therapy for children with developmental disabilities. At Mary Cariola their sensory board is attached to a wall, making it inaccessible. The goal of this project is to make a sensory experience that is easy to transport and use.

Current Solution:

Texture tiles (Each tile has a different texture and can magnetize together); AdjusTable (A surface with texture that can be raised, lowered, and rotated); Canvas (Flexible surface for tactile stimulation and exercises); Flower (Playful manual ability practice)
